    Asking Questions#

Meetric AI understands natural language, so you can ask questions as you would to a colleague. No special syntax or commands required.

    Types of Questions#

Here are the main categories of questions Meetric AI can answer:

    Factual Retrieval

Find specific information mentioned in conversations

"What was the pricing discussed in yesterday's call with Acme Corp?"
"Who said they would follow up on the API integration?"
"What are the main pain points mentioned by customers this month?"

    Summarization

    Get summaries across multiple conversations

"Summarize all demo calls from last week"
"What were the key takeaways from Q1 customer calls?"
"Give me an overview of product feedback from recent meetings"

    Comparison

    Compare and contrast information

"How do the requirements from Client A differ from Client B?"
"Compare the objections raised in sales calls this month vs last month"
"What's the difference between how enterprise and SMB customers describe their needs?"

    Trend Analysis

Identify patterns and changes over time

"What topics are coming up more frequently in support calls?"
"How has customer sentiment changed over the past quarter?"
"Are we seeing more pricing questions than before?"

    Action Items

    Track commitments and follow-ups

"What action items are assigned to Sarah this week?"
"List all pending follow-ups from Q1 meetings"
"Show me overdue action items from sales calls"

    Crafting Better Questions#

While Meetric AI understands natural language, more specific questions yield better answers:

    Too Vague
    "Tell me about customers"
"What are the top 3 pain points mentioned by enterprise customers in Q1?"

Specific criteria and timeframe help Meetric AI focus the search

    Unclear Scope
    "What did we talk about?"
"What were the main topics discussed in calls with Acme Corp?"

Defining scope (specific customer) makes the answer more relevant

    Missing Context
    "What's the status?"
"What's the status of the integration project based on recent engineering meetings?"

Adding context helps Meetric AI understand which conversations to search

    Pro Tips

    • Include time ranges when relevant ("last week", "Q1 2024")
    • Mention specific people, companies, or topics to narrow results
    • Ask follow-up questions to drill deeper - Meetric AI maintains conversation context
    • Use "why" and "how" questions for deeper analysis
