  1. Open New AI chat

An onboarding checklist is only useful if it shows what is blocking progress. Open New AI chat to find Northstar’s dependencies and missing owners.

  2. Choose the customer

First open Filter Data. Choose Company to focus the context. Select Northstar. Then apply the filter.

  3. Ask about blockers

Ask for the onboarding blockers, named owners and next steps, with sources. Submit the question and keep unassigned work visible.

  4. Review the checklist

Jon will ask IT for access, but the export format still needs a decision owner. Maya needs both before testing. Open the source behind those dependencies.

  5. Open a source

The implementation call explains that access and the export format must be ready before Maya can test. Read the transcript to check what is actually assigned.

  6. Check the dependency

The call names Jon for access, but leaves the export decision without an owner. Keep that gap visible. Return to the brief.

  7. Unblock testing in the right order

Confirm Jon’s access request and assign the export-format decision. Then Maya can begin testing. You have a concrete path through the onboarding blockers.

When to use it

Implementation has slowed down and the next blocker is buried in several conversations.

Start with

  • The customer’s company filter on Home
  • Kickoff and implementation conversations

How to do it

  1. On Home, choose the customer under Filter Data → Company and apply the filter.

  2. Ask for blockers and dependencies from the customer conversations, including agreed owners and next actions.

  3. Open the sources to check each commitment and any missing owner before following up.

Ask Meetric

From Northstar’s onboarding conversations, list what is stopping testing, the owner mentioned for each item, and the next action. Mark any owner not agreed.
